I’ve always eyed the items that ModCloth offers, but told myself that I didn’t really need them, even though they were either a) pretty, b) cute, or c) made my vintage-dar tingle. But I somewhat caved in recently. Here are my spoils. I’m not 100% satisfied with it unfortunately.

I’ve been wanting a brightly colored bag for a while and saw this one. It looked a lot more salmon online, but in real life it takes on an almost Peptol Bismol pink in some lighting, i.e. the photo above. So I’m sitting on the fence with it at the moment. But I do love that print of London (I want to find an ornate frame for this ~~to make up for it's diminutive size lol~~) and the shoes~

Last Monday was all about sushi. The art of sushi. The enjoyment of sushi. Sushi, sushi. And boy, it was quite a feast for my stomach and eyes.

Eric, his two friends, itsuka, amandier, hakuku, and I ate at Fuji for dinner, a sushi restaurant that offers all you can eat. It was delicious, they didn’t skimp out on the fish vs. rice ratio, and I think we might’ve killed their stock of salmon. Look at our 1st giant plate of sushi to the right. |D;

Afterwards, we went to watch Jiro Dreams of Sushi at the Laemmle in Pasadena. It’s a documentary of the story of Jiro Ono, an 85 year old who is considered by many to be the world’s greatest sushi chef. His restaurant only serves sushi and accommodates up to 10 people only who must be willing to shell out $300 for a 20-piece sushi meal. Reservations are to be made a month in advance. The menu changes daily depending on the day's catch. Jiro himself is hard working, a perfectionist, and shows dedication I have not seen among many (or at least in America). He works from sunrise to well after sunset. He's perpetually striving to outdo himself. He doesn't think he's learned it all despite what many others things. His routine has not changed much according to his sons. His eldest son is expected to take over the restaurant, but he is already 50 and his father shows no sign of retiring any time soon. Apparently, to be apprenticed by Jiro, it will take you a decade to learn everything and this is free of pay. Amazing.

The entire documentary was somewhat insightful in that it made me feel disappointed in myself -- I’m such a lazy ass. I need to step up my game! I learned interesting things about sushi -- like I had no idea there’s three different types of toro. I’ve just known whatever you normally get and then o-toro. I’ve also always thought the California roll was a product of American culture, not it actually came from Japan. I’m guessing it was possibly was invented for the gaijin, haha.

And...I finally know how to pronounce Laemmle! always thought it was “la-MEL,” lol. /ignoranthaha

So...I'm going to Sakuracon. It was a spur of the moment thing and airfare was a bit of a bitch, but I'm excited to get the chance to explore Seattle. Any suggestions on what sakurae, eeveil, and I could do? Any places we must go to eat? :9 Oh and yeah, there's the con, haha. I still don't know what costumes to bring...

I think I'm going later on in the month...like after Wondercon or something. I hope there will still be flowers by then? I should go look at the Facebook group for updates, huh?

SAKURACON

Either Maka again or Yui with sakurae's Mio...or bring both? Idk. I'd bring something from Bleach for that one seiyuu (I totally know my seiyuu...), but I don't want to travel with Apache's horn and I think I'd freeze in Soi Fong. I also doubt I'd be able to meet him nor would I know what to say other than smile, haha.

FANIME

- Suu's the only one that is confirmed.
- Ventus, I'd be wearing by myself so it depends how much time I have left after I finish Suu...not that I have much to finish for him, but lol hi armor.
- Yagyuu is up to melts and eeveil. Yay? Nay?
- Scarlet Kiss is weather permitting and thrown in there for the sake of something else to wear.

It's so weird to have such an empty, up-in-the-air schedule... I know Suu will probably take up a lot time and effort to make, but I feel like I should throw in some rewears or if it's new, something hella easy. Any suggestions? I don't want to wear Suu for more than 2 times over the weekend as I'm sure the wings will be a hindrance after a while.

Decided to change my LJ layout and profile. So woo~

Anyway, that backlog. San Francisco! I went last year during Labor Day weekend and then again for Dicken's Fair, thus I'm just going to clump both trips into one post cuz I’m ~~lazy~~ efficient like that.

Labor Day Weekend
- Didn't do much cuz herp derp good idea, let's go on a holiday weekend. I should've known it'd be busy as hell, ah well.
- Traffic everywhere. Itinerary didn't stand a chance.
- Thank you Oscar for housing and chauffeuring us girls!
- Lisa's Treasures for high tea was delicious. The best scones I've ever tasted. Someone also needs to tell them to not use fanciful script font for their logotype. No one can read it from afar.
- Went to the Winchester House for the first time ever. It was a lot more bizarre than creepy. They didn't allow us to take photos indoors, boo. I kept on almost tripping on those easy steps.
- Watched movies. I I think we watched Tangled, the crazy, trippy live action Alice and something else? I know Doctor Who was in there somewhere.
- Clam chowder in a bread bowl at Boudin's! I think we also went to some random pizza place near the Winchester House that was pretty darn good.
- Daiso. I want everything.
- Went to my first loli store. I felt totally out of place, but they do have some cute things. I still don't think I'll ever wear that stuff though.
- Sad we didn't get to try all the cool places Oscar wanted to take us to eat. :C
- HOLY MOTHER FUCKING GOD, LOMBARD STREET. Fuck that shit. Going up the incline to get to the top of the famous street was so freakin’ scary and I wasn't even the one driving.
- Got a cute heart patterned scarf!
- Visited Golden Gate Park’s Japanese garden. My god, it was gorgeous!
- Got to climb up one of those really high arch Japanese bridges. It was kinda scary. I kinda scrambled up it like a retard. XD
- GIANT HAWK within like 20 ft of me. o__o
- Ghiradelli’s salted caramel hot chocolate was heavenly. Omg, I want another one just thinking about it.

Dickens Fair
- Miso butter corn ramen at Himawari's in San Mateo! It sounded disgusting and delicious at the same time. I'm glad it was the latter.
- I drove in SF for the first time! They're as bad as So Cal drivers...
- Whee bridges~
- Wtf @ people standing at least a couple feet on the street, off the curb when it's not their turn to cross the street.
- Stayed at Hotel Majestic. Wow, it's an old hotel. I think it's the oldest running hotel in the city. It was gorgeous inside and out.
- Had a really weird, slightly creepy dream regarding our room's bathroom. O_o;
- Dickens Fair was cool. I like it a lot better than Ren Faire. I think it's cuz all the volunteer actors are so much more nicer than the Ren Faire ones, which - to me - tend to be rude (unless that’s how they were back in that time period) and then I don't know how to interact with them. Maybe also cuz Dickens is Christmas themed, hence the all-around cheerfulness?
- There was a dude who was in the character of a drunkard, so he was passed out along the side of a building, haha. What an easy job! XD
- Bought myself a purdy necklace.
- Oogled what Annie called an old lady hat, but it was cute on me.
- Finally had spiked apple cider! It was okay, haha. Not sure what I was expecting.
- Didn't get to try a pasty among other British foods cuz lines were way too long.
- Failed attempt at getting German food. :C
- Tried carpaccio pizza. I should've known it wouldn't be warm cuz carpaccio = raw beef. And hot pizza >>>>> room temperature pizza. Good job, me.
- Okonomiyaki!! *^*
- Delightful tea time at Tan Tan.
- I wish our Kinokuniya was as large as the one in Japantown. But then maybe it's a good thing or else I'd never find my way out ever.

Girl give me a second I, I need to get my story straight.

This week is dragging so badly. u___u; I should be sewing, but haha this glass of wine I had made me so sleepy…so! Hi. Lol.

I had a pretty darn good Valentine's Day this year. I spent it with faithful_muse after fighting tooth and nail through rush hour traffic from Chinatown to Torrance. My stupid GPS took me the lamest way through Downtown LA and I would've totally thrown it on the ground if it weren't also my phone. u___u;

But! Okonomiyaki and beer with a parfait to top it off at Gaja was worth it! Afterwards, we sang out hearts out at karaoke. We did a poor tribute to Whitney by seeing the most obvious song she has that wasn't even her song: "I Will Always Love You." Courtney found out I can rap, which amused her, haha.

I finally tried Umami Burger two days later. It was pretty good for those gourmet "hip" burgers. I had their signature burger and enjoyed the thin crispy thing of cheese on it. I do wish it was a bit thicker, but still delicious overall.

I had a pretty good time this year. I debuted Lynette Guycott for amandier’s Scott Pilgrim group. Got a few nice pics in that outfit courtesy of sakurae. Thank you! I photobombed konishii, lol. Hm...oh! I attended fattastik and her friend’s duel birthday masquerade party at the insistence of...I forget who. I just remember hakuku and I wanting to be lazy bums and lounge in bed watching TV all night until that someone pushed us to just get ready and head over. Made a few new friends. :] I think we might’ve scared everyone when we suddenly mobbed the hotel lobby at like midnight with our drunken asses.

A group of us ate dinner at the fancy smancy steakhouse in the hotel. I was disappointed at the medallions I ordered, but everyone else’s food that I tried was delicious. Also, I can’t believe the price mark-up they had for a bottle of Coppola’s Claret. It was $15 for a glass or $44 for a bottle, when I can get the bottle for the price of a glass. Wtf!? Ah well. I just drank too much that day -- beer during lunch, wine at dinner, more booze at party, haha.

The last day was shota day for Kristen and I. We wore our art book school boy uniforms from 07-Ghost. The best part was the pink creeper Frau balloon. Hahaha. Thank you, okitasan for taking photos!

Amok, amok, amok!

Oh, man. I had quite a Halloween this year. I somehow ended up wearing three costumes, lol.

First, I went to Disneyland for Mickey's Not-So-Scary-Halloween or whatever the heck they call it now. It was my first time going so I was real excited even though I've been to the theme park before when decorated for the holiday. I went with a whole slew of us on the first day the event opened. We were all Kingdom Hearts characters, which was fitting and I also finally got to get going on Ventus, which is something I've wanted to do for a while now. I didn't get to finish everything, but it will be done sometime next year; I'm guessing Fanime? Either way, it was really neat to have a lot of the cast members recognize us though. Even some event goers gave us mad props. :D

Though, I'm sad to say that I didn't make it to the park before sundown and I think that really limited us on what we could do before closing time and it didn't help that some of us wanted pics everywhere. I only rode like four rides; Space Mountain was not included in that nor was The Haunted Mansion. The next time I go, I'm definitely riding the rides no matter what y'all say. I didn't pay the amount I did just to treat the park as a photoshoot location. No hard feelings, yeah?

Second, I was invited to the infamous White Base for a party on Saturday of Halloween weekend. I ended up being a GANGURO, HAHA. It was totally a last minute decision as I was leaning towards being lazy and rewearing my McGee's Alice from the year before, but I figure since I'm going to what was predicted as an epic party, I should get epic for it.

It took WAY longer than I thought it would to put the makeup one and it's not like I used a lot of different products. It was also quite gross putting that much cream stick concealer on your face. At one point, it totally looked more like I was a Cirque du Soleil extra until I tried to go more extreme...then it looked more right. Lol. I needed more jewelry, but didn't feel like spending more than necessary for things I'd never wear on a regular basis. Ah well.

I also didn't realize how unrecognizable I'd look in the makeup until I surprised and shocked everyone at the party cuz to me, it still looked like me kind of, hahaha. My fave reaction was itsuka's. XD

Then, it was Halloween. I decided that I wanted to wear something to work that wasn't ganguro cuz I didn't want to sit around in that makeup for 8 hrs as much as it'd be HILARIOUS to see all the older fobby office lady's reactions. I ended up as some lolita doll thing...wearing my Suu wig, Speed Grapher button up shirt and Maka black tights with a skirt. Oh and I drew a heart on my lips. Yup. The people in the office were all like, "WAAHH!! HOW PRETTY!!" Still pretty amusing.

I totally forgot I had to go into the WHF Chinatown store to take product shots for the Christmas sales flyer...in costume. Whoops. Well, not that I REALLY cared. Then after work, Ben and I had a few friends over where we watch Silent Hill and Hocus Pocus (my brain's still reeling from Binx = McGee o.o).

WEEZERRRR 8D

AT THE OC FAIRRRR

So yup. itsuka, yoursenq, super_no_1 and I went to the OC Fair in the beginning of August to see a Weezer show. Shh, I know I just saw them at the Memories Tour end of last year. I wanted to see them again. Yes. That soon. Shush. Anyway, they were fucking awesome as usual! 8D!

I took off early from work and went to pick up Setsu on my way down to the OC. We met up with Jennifer and Nergene there and had nomming time. I had a philly cheesesteak, a churro and a lemonade (oh god so good on that hot day). I don't know how I still remember that...Anyway after stuffing our faces, we headed to the Pacific Amphitheatre. Jennifer and I got ourselves some beer and there was also cotton candy and kettle corn and we all settled down in our seats for the show to come.

The band came out to the 21st Century Fox fanfare much to my amusement and went immediately into song. No introduction, but yeah I don't think they need such frivolities anymore. Rivers...I'll never get over how good he looks for his age cuz seriously -- minus his thinning hair -- he basically still looks the same. He did sport this huge tribal sleeve tattoo though. He never addressed it and I thought it looked odd, yet...fitting for him. He always seemed to be the quirky type. He was crazy as usual with his antics: He grabbed some guy's hat and wore it. He ran around in the audience way more than enough (of course, sadly, he never got close to us ;A; ). At one point, someone threw him some giant briefs with =W= on it. He held it up to the audience with a look of, "Wtf?"...and proceeds to put it on over his pants and wears it for the rest of the concert. XD It also dawned on me that he'd make a freakin' awesome Quailman for Halloween, hahaha. They ended the night crowding around the drums to while singing Buddy Holly. Woo!

Ventus Progress 2.0

Gahhh, didn't get as much done as I had wanted over the weekend, but uh at least it was progress? I also haven't watched that many movies over a weekend…like ever, haha.

I was originally planning to sew on Friday, but uh me finishing Bounen no Xamdou got in the way. While I'm glad to have finally watched it all, the series was as yoshikochan said it, "Well-animated crap." The plot could've been soooo good if only there were more eps to finish it, but instead -- and rumor says it was originally slated for such, but oh look lack of budget -- it ended up being some rushed, crazy mess. There ended up being so many plot holes and arcs that weren't really given closure. :C

Anyway, progress pics. This shirt took for-freakin'-ever. It wasn't even hard, just time consuming. Ugh.

Good food was also to be had this past weekend. We tried this sushi place near my apt with Ben and Sara called Shiki. It was quite delicious and huge portions for about the price of a roll anywhere else. Then today, we had brunch at LAMILL back in Silverlake. Oh, such a delicious place. I don't care if it's crowded with hipsters. Good coffee is good. I'm also a freakin' retarded. I wanted to make mabo tofu and I bought the ground beef, but completely forgot the tofu. GAH. So uh, we had mabo beef instead tonight, LOL.

Witnessed a guy eat it hard when trying to jump from the sidewalk to the street on his bike, only to have his handlebars pop off as he did so. I pulled over to make sure he was alright.___@;

Listening to a random KPop playlist on playlist.com while cosworking. Weirdest lyrics heard: "I really want to touch myself." Weirdest song heard: Seaside by DBSK, Super Junior & SHINee, which sounds like it should be in a Korean dubbed version of The Little Mermaid.

Haha, I finally tried catching up to it...but only got about 2 eps further than wherever I last left off. ^^; Maybe I'll finish it up this weekend during my sewing party with eeveil.

That being said, I think I need to update my MyAnimeList or start a new one somewhere on my comp. I have so many series I've yet to finish. :x

Ventus Progress 1.0

Not much to see, but Ventus shirt #1, a.k.a. the black turtleneck, is done. :] Took me about an hour or so with some distraction from Facebook, lol. I didn't bother hemming the edges. It's jersey anyway. Also didn't bother with sleeves. XD;

Wearing it in the room for only a few minutes though...I'm REALLY hoping the 30th will be COOL or else I'll like keel over from heat exhaustion or something cuz he as two more shirts on top of this one. Effin' Nomura, lol.

I also received my wig from Arda. It's such a nice color. :O!! Thank you to those who voted! My lamps make it look more blonde than it really is. The color's closer to what we suspected was the true color in Arda's gallery. I almost want to dye my hair this color. I also almost don't want to spike this wig.../pets

I bought a smaller wannabe-Moleskin sketchbook from Kinokuniya the other day. It’s got pretty nice thick paper and a handy elastic tie thing. :D I’d love to start drawing again on a slightly more regular basis and I was hoping a sketchbook I can bring with me wherever was a good start. I guess, we’ll see!

What do I draw in it first? My current quick-to-becoming-obsession: Tiger & Bunny.

I'm kinda d'awing that Kotetsu turned out so disgruntled. I love me some ojii-san. XD

(Ignore that half of Bunny’s face is missing. I couldn’t for the life of me get his other eye to be symmetrical…)

AX this year was like the con of derp faces. :B I volunteered with ACP for the first time. Yup, I was a booth ~~babe~~ dude. I stood there looking purdy, posing for pics, handed out a few things...stood prettily by the flatscreen when Drrr!! was on, haha. Overall, the experience was pretty awesome! I had a great time and everyone was real nice~ :3 I somehow felt productive, too! Other than that, I wore two other costumes and didn't really get to wander around and loiter as much as I usually did. Hence, the lack of photos and rather a repeat of us nerds at the Aniplex booth instead. XD; I also don't think I'll get a hotel room a this con again...it's just not worth it. I'd rather just carpool. Anyway, on with the report!

IT'S FRIDAY, FRIDAY, FRIDAY:
- Actual work from 9 - 1 pm.
- Quick lunch at ~~Mitsuwa~~ Woori Market after some hotel food stash shopping.
- Thank you gps app for taking me down a hella congested street that made me late. 8|
- Ninja change into Mikado in car.
- Lunch not sitting well with me at all. ;___;
- Drrr!! gathering at Aniplex booth. Good turnout. Some lulz times.
- "Are you from Tennessee, cuz you're the only ten I see. ;]"
- Aaah, Karu!! Second time I ever see her and she's going to Japan for a while. ;C
- I'm one of two (that I saw) Mikado's at con. No love for awkward turtle.
- Go home to pack and drive over to sakurae's.
- Guitar Center closed > Wal*Mart has no instruments section > ended up at Best Buy to get Gita a strap. Also, yay new headphones. I really thought I was going deaf, lol.
- TGIF dinnar. Note: Never get a fruit cup late at night. Gross. Actually, what was I thinking in getting fruit at TGIF??!
- Hotel check-in: 12:30 am...
- Fancy big shower head in shower. It's so retarded to use if you're not washing your hair though.
- Stay up till ~3 am helping Annie with her X costume.

TOMORROW IS SATURDAY:
- Wow, hotel coffee is actually STRONG, instead of the usual dirty water.
- Last minute scurry to help finish X, but mission failed.
- Decide to wear Yui. Get half of makeup done only to find out we have to change rooms. Supposedly we're to have a double, not one king. Oops. Change into Izzy instead.
- Maybelline's gel eyeliner is awesome. :O
- Couldn't make it to Last Exile: Fam, the Silver Wing showing. Crrryyy.
- Brunch at The Farm of Beverly Hills.
- Digimon times with rockolla. Best bros. ♥
- Got thru less than half of dealer's hall. Nothing good. :C
- Splurge on Eden of the East box set and FLCL dvd at Funi booth. Yay, new PJ shirt!
- People-watched with random_karen on con center floor.
- Hi, hot Luffy and I don't even read One Piece.
- Angry Nightwing is angry.
- I still don't understand Vocaloid. You guys paid to see a projection...
- Late ass dinner at Yard House with fun folks. Yummy though.

- Somehow ended up partying in Cabusi's room.

AND SUNDAY COMES AFTERWARDS:
- Wake up at 9 am. Should've woken up at 8 am cuz hi, we need to check out. Fuuuuccck.
- Pack like the wind, separate Yui from rest of luggage, attempt to have a cuppa joe and some mocha bun and get ready for Mikado -- all at the same time. ____@;
- Scramble to find friend's room to store Yui in > go to wrong floor...
- Book it across from JW Marriot to South Hall. I am SO not in shape. I'm sorry for being late! ;___;
- Drrr!! dating game was part lulz, part aaaawkward.
- Oogling a slutty!Benio to see how she made her outfit.
- Nom nom @ one of the food trucks.
- A wild sister shows up.
- Dealer's hall with sister and kikyouluver.
- Couldn't find that one CosCraft issue. :C
- No time for artist's alley.
- Human barricade for Drrr!! VA autograph session. So not intimidating enough with Karu. So many people tried to walk past us or didn't see us there. Sob.
- Kicked a dude out for sneaking into line without a ticket. >:|
- Not too into VAs tbh, but when they were there and were all like excited to see us, it got pretty cool. :Db
- Darrel Guilbeau getting all excited that there was a Mikado. XD
- No one in the cast believes that I made the track jacket, lol.
- Simon's English voice = awesome sauce. I ♥ sushi.
- Dude, dudeeee. Blake Lewis came. Suddenry wished I was in Kasuka. B'aww.
- Changed into Yui. Thank you to, kikyou_lover and Ken for taking pics of me!
- Stupid guitar strap kept on snapping off. Had a few near miss calls. __@
- Literal flashing banging of people. LOL.

So, uhm on Monday. I could've (and should've) just gone back. I went to work because on Friday boss lady said, "You're coming in on Monday, right?" in that sort of tone that insinuated that she did actually indeed want you to come in on a holiday that majority of normal human beings have off. So I'm there, a coworker's surprised I'm there. Then a warehouse worker expressed surprise. And here's the kicker, her father -- the freakin' CEO of the parent company -- was like, "Why are you here, Cindy?"

Well, fuck her. And well, at least I got paid that day for not really doing much, *cough*.

Dinner made up for it though. A giant group of us met up in Little Tokyo at the place where they have the BIKKURI DON. That was awesome. :D

It was wonderful seeing those that I did. And I hope I get to see those that I didn't next time!

Fanime Con Report

This year's Fanime was kinda eh to me. I didn't get to party as much as I would've liked. It was odd to not bump into someone I know every five feet. But I did get to hang out with people I don't normally hang out with! Most plans were either rushed or fell through. Cosplaying was somewhat not as fulfilling as usual for some reason. I wore about half of what I brought, lol. Then there was lack of photoshoots and of me being the wannabe photographer. But there were some highlights, including BEST IN SHOW and random silly moments with friends. :]

FRIDAY:
- Hella late to con. ♥ to random_karen for being my carpool partner.
- MADE IT FROM LA TO SJ ON ONE TANK OF GAS. WAT. Okay, maybe I should give Knives some credit. She is a new car, but I was expecting to have to refuel at least once. I guess not!
- I love cruise control. Why did I never use it until now? I've been missing out!
- Go to Target for button-up vest > come out with whiskey and coke. Alright.
- Saw a flying killer whale. :O
- Paneraaaa with eeveil and bluestraggler. I think I still like Corner Bakery better. :x
- Wrestled with sakurae's Euphemia sleeves of doom.
- Talking closet strikes again.
- Drew amazing Lamont eyebrows on Nat.
- What do you mean there's no printed schedule!?
- Zombie office building. 8|
- Kasuka times with fullmetal_tora, konishii and Tina. Thank you Dan for taking pics! Couldn't wear him with Eve. :C

SATURDAY:
- Nom nom on 85º Bakery goods. Thanks Kristen for bringing them!
- Hetalia times. How did I get myself talked into this? Thank you super_no_1 for humoring us with some last minute photos. And thank you ycysusan for letting me borrow your Taiwan!
- AHH, A KINO. I should've stared at her pouches and other parts of the outfit to see how to make mine. :<
- No Auel...
- Kasuka again for MusicFest. Should've just gone as a civvie. Where were you, Eve? :P
- Tandoori with bombaycake and Annie. I wish I can handle spicy foods...I'm stuck with only ever getting the yogurt-marinated stuff.
- Hung out with mingswly, Eva, Ann, Stella, Susan, tenshiyaki + boyfriend and more in line for MusicFest.
- Started raining. :O Then apparently it started pouring when we all got inside the auditorium.
- Matsushita Yuya is such a pretty pretty boy. He was reading Engrish off of note cards. How adorable was that!? And he couldn't pronounce Brack Butrer. Pfft.
- I enjoyed FLOW more this second time around. I've no idea why.
- Survived combo attack of B.O. from two random otaku who tried to weasel their way closer to the stage. /gags
- Lonely Island Creepers!
- Amusedly watched Camille and Iris walk only about ten feet in twenty minutes cuz they were too sexy in Psylocke and Mai, respectiviely. I think we made some guys jealous cuz we just ran up to hug them and held up the crowd forming to take pics, bwahaha!
- Recognized mymerrilymemory's cleavage from a floor above.
- Hoagie dinner at midnight with ziggybecket. I don't even.
- Stumbled upon a whole slew of people (Steph, Setsu, hakuku, akusesu, Camille, Iris, Dustin, etc.) I rarely get to hang out with on first floor of con center on way to room. Ended up chilling with them for a while.
- Soju + AzN OJ + Calpico = not bad. Thanks Eric for sharing some! As long as evalime doesn't make it. /still thinking about that mango thing from Sakura Gathering, ew...
- Hooker heels walk off turned dance off. /entranced
- Amazed at how well Jimmy can walk in hooker heels. o__o

SUNDAY:
- Hilton buffet breakfast. Aaah, real breakfast foooood.
- No Yui...
- Gay kitty boy time with praedestinatio.
- Steph to the rescue with kitty ears!
- Bought new and better Suu wig from Epic Cosplay.
- Mickey D's with Gin.
- Making faces at Evan every time we saw each other. XD
- Masq was surprisingly good this year even though it had a lot of dancing, kissing and Pokemans. I still want Darryl as the host, not Ric Myers. Booo.
- Loved loved loved educational zombiefied Chevalier/Rose of Versailles, Star Driver men in tights and Portal skits.
- Cheering and complaining during masq on Twitter with friends.
- Horrified at who I think was dancing Ino from a few years back.
- AAAH BEST IN SHOWWWWW (I was the lone stage ninja that saved the ~~day~~ skit, lolol).
- Late ass dinner at Original Joe's. Thank you so much for seating a party of 10 half an hour before close. ;~; Though snippy waiter was snippy.
- Yes, random photog guy from dinner. I am aware of how to use a camera. Maybe I should've purposely taken a horrible pic.

MONDAY:
- Most dericious blueberry muffin and cafe latte from Peet's.
- Kristen cutting mullét wig to Mikado.
- DRRR!! times. I was apparently the only Mikado all weekend? No love for Mikadooo. This girl thought the same, lol.
- Breezed thru AA and Dealer's Hall cuz I wasn't able to on previous days. Got the cutest Spirited Away fanart! ;o; And a Knite poster. :]
- Couldn't find the purikura machine, found out it was in gaming hall, then forgot about it….B'aw.
- Lunch at Hydration with Kristen, Tora, Nat, Oscar, Tina + 2 others.
- Quick shoot with Susan. Thank you!
- Sonic! I finally got to go to a Sonic! I got a mocha java chiller. While it was yummy, the calories made me cringe. Their tater tots were pretty good, too.
- FREEWAY PARTY. Some accident closed down all southbound lanes on 5 for about half an hour.
- Kimi running AROUND my car right when we stopped. Me: /jaw dropped, eyes following her
- Thank god for Karen reading my Twitter outta boredom and finding hybrid_twist's suggestion of using a detour to avoid those two construction zones. But going 25 miles due east before going south again was still kinda ew.
- AHHHH @ two cars who tried to surpass other cars in their own lane by coming into ours and barely making it back in. ___@
- On the road for 7 hours. /ded Used less gas coming down than going up. I guess not using a/c makes a pretty big difference...

Testing out the circle lens I bought recently!

This first one is the Geo Tri Color in blue. I bought them mainly because I accidentally ripped my blue Geo Angel ones just before Fanime. ;( I was also hoping to find a lighter blue as the Geo Angel ones are VERY dark on me.

( All eyes on me in the center of the ring. Just like a circus. )

I fear I may be stuck forever doubling up on contacts for certain colors. -A-;

AX Schedule

Uhm, okay. This is my ~~pending~~ schedule for Anime Expo.

I'll be volunteering for ACP's Durarara!! event with Aniplex/Bandai as Mikado. This is the first time I've done anything like this, so I'm quite excited for the opportunity! I get to be a booth ~~babe~~ dude! 8Db Now, it says "pending schedule" because I'm still waiting for them to confirm which shifts I can take, but it's safe to assume that I'm free nights and majority of Saturday.

I'm also going to be staying in a hotel for once. I haven't bothered with rooming since AX's move to LA, but I didn't feel like dealing with carpooling this year. I'm looking forward to enjoying the con after hours. :)

DAY 1 - FRIDAY
:: Half day at work. Leave between 12 - 1 pm.
:: 3 - 6 pm: DRRR!! times (There's a gathering from 4 to 5 pm at the booth, come visit! :D)
:: 6 - 7/8 pm: Go back home to grab luggage and sakurae, check into hotel
:: Sometime at night: Guido/Tranny party. Ahaha.

DAY 2 - SATURDAY
:: Early afternoon: Yui [K-ON!] with sakurae
:: Mid afternoon: Izzy [Digimon] with nerdcore and co.
:: Evening: OPEN

DAY 3 - SUNDAY AKA DRRR!! DAY
:: 12 - 1 pm: DRRR!! times (Dating game? Lolz.)
:: 1 - 3 pm: OPEN, but I probably will just stay in costume. Someone take me out to lunchhh?
:: 3 - 6 pm (Includes autograph session with the English VA's from 4:30 to 6 pm)
:: Evening: K-ON shoot with evalime and Ken

DAY 4 - MONDAY
:: BACK TO WORK ~~I hate my company, stupid thing. And I didn't want to take more vacation days off from my already measly allotted ones.~~ ;A;

I want to bring a third costume for random wear. Any suggestions?

Otherwise choices are Spartoi!Maka, Apache (but she can be a hassle to get into...), CCS Movie 2!Sakura (in which I'd need to borrow a wig from someone) or....Tieria. LOL. Idk. \ u__u/ Too bad Ootani would look out of place without a Koizumi.

Someone in the parent company's fobby store asked me to reorder some Foodsaver bags. I ordered two different sizes last time - two 11" and two 8" wide rolls.

Me: "I'm reordering those bags you asked me to. Which size do you need?"
Him: "Oooh okay."
Me: "Uhm. I bought two different sizes last time. An 11" wide one and an 8" wide one. Which on did you want me to buy?"
Him: "Oooh okay. You gave me four last time right?"
Me: "Yes....two 11" wide ones. Two 8" ones. Which one do you need!?"
Him: "So four, right?"
