Writer's Block: Where Names Come From + Short Film Pimping

Evanae doesn't have any real meaning and no one really calls me by that anyway, lol.

But basically, I had realized that I needed a new user/nickname when I started cosplaying and being more active on online communities cuz artsigurl, which was and still is my email, was so high school. So I was listening to the radio in the car and Evanescence came on (I don't even really like her as an artist). My train of thought basically went like this: "Evanescence --> Evane --> Evanae cuz uh I dunno adding an "a" there seemed like the logical choice. I didn't want to be called "eh-vane", "eh-vah-nay" sounded cooler even though no one pronounces it the way I do. XD

Oh and sharing time: Winner of the NFB Short Film Online Competition Cannes 2008 - Alonso Alvarez Barreda's Historia de un Letrero (The Story of a Sign).

T_T I'm such a sap. I had teared at the end of this. It was touching and beautiful.

I dunno, I've had ppl say something like "eh-VAN-ay" or "eh-va-nah-ey" (dunno wheretf they got that last one from, lool).

I always said it like... E-vaan-ay. Or.. something like that. *does not write out pronunciations well*

Everyone always says Rema like "Rem-a" but I always did "Re-ma" I dunno, I'm weird?

Hrm, not really. It's kinda all flat across, like how you'd say the first half of Evanescence I guess...I dunno, ask me to say it when we see each other again. XD I suck at this pronunciation thing.
