The Muse concert was FUCKING AWESOME. Rumors are true -- they're excellent live. Their music can be so epic and it really translates well on stage. I loved the graphics they had projected onto parts of the stage and the usage of lasers and strobe lights. I thought that I wouldn't enjoy it as much because I don't know all the words to every song and...I only really know the singles. Yeah, I'm a bad fan. But I did very much enjoy myself! Also, Matthew Bellamy is the only man I know who can pull off a sparkly, sparkly silver metallic suit. 8)

Oh, and Passion Pit, who was the opening band, wasn't bad at all. Though sometimes his higher-pitched voice got to me. They kinda reminded me of a mix of Coheed and Cambria with Arcade Fire? Idk.

I did wish our seats were closer. Actually, I wouldn't have minded general admission floor either. I do love being in a mosh pit, I think it makes for a better experience but I think Ben and Sara are lazy concert goers. They just wanted to sit, lol. Oh, the two screeching teenage girls n front of us needed to stfu. I thought my ears were going to bleed from the sheer level in pitch they reached. Overall, though it was well worth going to see it!

Next on my list, I'm hoping to snag tickets to Weezer at the Gibson. *__* Or maybe even Gaga. Hm...

Oh and Wang Leehom concert? Tickets got! Hotel room booked! Eeeee~!! Now, if only I can REMEMBER all his songs but augh it's harder when it's not in a language you're 100% fluent in. It's so much more fun when you can sing alonggg. D: Bah.

Woo, so Paramore. That was a pretty good show. Well, if you ignore the fact that I couldn't see shit thanks to a tall drunk couple who were on top of each other and waving their limbs around like crazies. *sigh* I half-hoped that they'd like topple forward out of drunkeness and not get up again so that everyone behind them would be able to SEE the damn stage. :\ I have to admit, it was amusing imitating their retardo movements. Hahaha.

I'm glad to see that both Paramore and The Starting Line are good live. It always sucks when you see a band live, expecting them to sound like they do on the cd, and they fail. :| But these two didn't! Yay~ Hayley's voice is like amazing. Such a strong voice from such a tiny girl. XD It was amazing. They just had such raw energy. You couldn't really help NOT getting into it. That bassist was also all acrobatic and shit, lol. He did a rolling somersault-ish thing off the guitarist's back. XD

The Starting Line were good, too~ But omg, the crowd was. so. dead. So meeaan. I know only half of the audience even heard of this band even though they've been around for SO long (the lead singer, Kenny asked, that's how I know) but wow. Lol. I felt kinda bad for them. Their music I guess has a bit less mosh potential but stillll. Kenny was funny. XD He was calling us all beautiful fireflies when we had our cell phones/lighters on for a slow song. he also called out "It's Britney, bitch!" before a song, ahaha. That caught me off guard.

Even though I didn't know all the lyrics to either of the bands' songs, I still had fun. I'm glad I went. There was actually some age range in the audience which surprised me. The teeny boppers weren't as annoying as they could've been...as boyband ones could be. Oh boy, memories of *NSYNC at the Great Western Forum came flooding back to me. I thought I was going to go deaf at that show. X_x;

friday nite

i think sometimes i just don't think things thru and in the end i feel like i'm a dumbass, but i forgot to take pj's, toothbrush, and contacts container and solution w/ me to the sleepover. great job, huh? but anyway, driving to riverside almost took 2 hrs cuz of traffic. the bad thing was i was getting tired and was starving; not a good combo while behind the wheel. ^^; i finally got there and yay! jet! :D i met all her friends there and it was cool. they're all so nice and awesome.

i left jet's place close to 4 pm and then proceeded to get lost. >.> usually if u go somewhere w/ a set of directions, the way back is just changing the left's to right's and going backwards on the list. but nooo...that wasn't the case this time. *sigh* i came on the 215 S so went on the 215 N. i then found myself going thru san bernadino wondering "wait a minute..." then when the fwy turned into rural and a 2-lane highway, i called steph. yup...i was supposed to go on the 215 S which leads into the 91 W. at least i called someone...haha. i finally got back to lb and found bonnie. yay! we went to eat at denny's while waiting for steph to get her butt over here.

half strawberry half vanilla milkshake from in and out rounded out the nite. thank god they close at 1 in the morning. haha.

saturday : come back from jet's and then foozer at 7:30 at lb arena! rock on!

sunday : maybe UCI w/ bonnie to inhale wondrous photo lab chemicals then head on back to l.a. for restocking of the next week's food.

last nite, even though i was sick, i went to the taste of chaos tour at the long beach arena/convention center/whatever the hell it's called. it was fscking awesome. xD me and steph got confused when we got there cuz we couldn't find out where to park. but we found it and had to walk quite a bit to the venue. X_x; one awesome thing was that my tiks were actually pit tickets! w00t! we had a wristband and all, haha. there were a whole buncha opening bands, which kinda sucked. well, there was this one group from SD that were all flip, i think, they were ok. i liked the lead singers voice and steph kept on commenting on how skinny he was, lol. i didn't catch their name though. D: and i also couldn't find their booth outside, lol. i thought i was gonna die cuz their music sucked. i didn't like it at all. it was the hard rock stuff w/ a buncha drums and a guy screaming incoherent words into the mic. ~_~ i think they were called killswitch engage. i'd hafta agree w/ steph that l.a. audiences are the most tough. cuz thruout a lot of the bands, they were all just like standing there, not really applauding and stuff after either.

anyway...after all the opening acts, my chemical romance came out. i thought they were ok. thruout all of the concert, me and steph were trying to find sylvia, cuz we knew that she was there in the pit somewhere. but there were too many ppl, supposedly like 14,000. O_O when the used came out, that was kinda when pandamonium broke loose. but the pit still wasn't as bad as it was at TBS. maybe cuz there were more girls at this one. anyhoo, the used rocked! they had energy and all that good stuff that makes being in the pit fun. i actually was able to see the stage most of the time cuz everyone was also shorter, muahaha.

at one point, when MCR was out, the lead singer said, "hey all u girls out there, if u see anyone sleazy, prolly dressed like us (meaning them) and they tell u to flash them to get backstage, spit in their face, and tell them to FUCK OFF!" haha. that was the greatest. it was also cool when bert told us to open up the floor for the biggest pit in the whole tour/world/whatever. i swear, me and steph got pushed back like 20 ft. O.o; oh and he made us say "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, bitch" or whatever how u spell that, lol.

later on, during their last few songs, we FINALLY found sylvia. apparently she had passed out and some nice guys took her to first aid. scary, huh? she had forgotten her inhaler. >.< she also said she got stepped on in the face (ouch...). i'm just glad she's aight. i lava ya. rock on gurl.

LOL. iono why i never really watched madtv on fox (maybe i always caught the lame eps...) but i saw one today on comedy central w/ adam brody (who's so hawt *drool*) , benjamin what'shislastname, and summer (rl name is rachel i think) from the o.c. that was SO hilarious. xD

good book w/ a uhm, interesting subject/theme to read ~> dream boy by jim grimsley. it's so sad, i have no clue why i cry at movies and when reading books, but i do. there i admitted it! but yeah...i cried...near the ending of the book. *feels ashamed* #~_~# but, thank ya to tinted_glass who told me about it. ^^

so yeah, ticketmaster SUCKS!! i never got my 2 taste of chaos tickets and so i called them today. the operator i got was like talking really fast and low and was being a bitch. so i guess, from what i could understand, i hafta go to will call at the long beach con ctr and show them my pic id, card i used to buy the tiks, and the order number and they'll gimme replacement tickets. blah. it better be a damn good concert. *pif* i hope we get there on time though, cuz my japanese midterm is on thursday but the thing is, i don't remember our teacher ever letting us leave after we're done w/ the test. =T maybe i can try to get out after i'm done, haha. cuz if not, i'll be staying till almost 4...and steph says that it'll prolly take like 2 hrs. to get to LB. ;__; why couldn't it be closer to us? or we could hit up CSULB at nite, ooo ahh...nah.

oooh and i have the 7 am to 1 pm shift the next day AFTER the concert, too. w00t. that should be interesting...@_@

my friend who lives in england, imed me earlier tonite, it's pretty funny cuz it was his b-day today and he was drunk. he was typing w/ a buncha typos and confessed that he thought i was REALLY hawt, haha. and wished i was there w/ him, awww. that was kinda cute and funny.

apex theory...i know SOMEONE i know likes them or has mentioned them b4...but THEY WERE PEFORMING AT GCC YESTERDAY!! they sounded pretty good but i couldn't really hear the vocals, unless i was subconsciously tuning him out cuz a few ppl around me were saying that he sucked, lol. slow motion reign (whoever they are...) played last week. iono what's up w/ the weekly shows but either way, i think it's pretty cool. FINALLY AS(S) is doing something rite! j/k. *please don't pelt me w/ anything*

it's wierd...this week has gone by extremely slow. -__- maybe it's cuz i hafta take my sis to and from school but i would think that that'd make it go by faster cuz i'm actually doing something. oh well. actually i have other stuff to do as well this week. i got an OHLE potluck to go to on saturday afternoon, then a workplace dinner/party cuz 2 of suncoast's managers are leaving (one's moving to the east coast cuz she "hates" L.A. and doesn't want her son to grow up w/ the "i need money to succeed" mentality and the other one is getting her own store in ventura county). oh yeah, and if i can work something out...and carlos will prolly be pissy at me...but i've a got track meet at marshall to go to later today. but my sis doesn't wanan stay after school and i don't think i wanna take her home then go back to school for it, haha. yes...i know i'm lazy. deal w/ it. haha.

T__T the taste of chaos tour concert date that i guess i'll be going to cuz now i got 2 free tiks STILL hasn't arrived yet. (the fscking mailman BETTER HAD NOT put it in the wrong mail box like this one dude used to do...*i kept on getting my armenian neighbors' mail so who knows what THEY got ;__;*) i know they said that it won't arrive any later than 48 hrs. b4 the thing but STILL. >.>;; hm...i need to learn the words to all of the used and my chemical romance songs. >__< it kinda sucked when i went to see TBS and i didn't know the words at all, lol.

today i went w/ steph to the mitsuwa in torrance. it's like HUGE compared to the one in little tokyo. and it also has this little area w/ restaurants that was made to look like a lil japanese village. so cute. x3 i had pork katsu curry w/ rice...*drool* that was SOOO good...but i think the fact that i was starving b4 i ate also had to do w/ it tasting so delicious, haha. we didn't really go into the market and i realized my sis wanted me to buy something for her to eat, hm...oh well, too late. then we shared a slice of paradise cake at uhm...i think it's called hawaiin king's bakery. it was pretty good, nice and airy and the cream wasn't too sweet. ^^ steph said she wanted that cake for her bday, lol. then we drove back home.

geez, today was like "kill-cindy-while-she's-driving" day. >_>;; i swear like 1 outta every 5 cars was either cutting me off, tailgating me, or doing whatever dangerous thing they did.

hm...the 2 tiks i got for the mar. 31 concert w/ the used and my chemical romance still hasn't arrived yet. i don't understand why the stupid "print tickets now" link didn't show up till AFTER i chose for them to snail mail it to me. T_T but anyway...i STILL NEED TO KNOW IF ROXANA (YES I AM TALKING TO U IF U'RE READING THIS) IS GOING TO THE CONCERT. cuz if not...then imma give the tik to steph...or if both of them wanna go, maybe i won't go. but i NEED TO KNOW SOON GODDAMMIT.
