Here's my 2008 cosplay in review!

This year was a tad bit crazy. >_o; Well, in my terms at least as I usually only have a few to several new costumes per year. I had 9 new costumes. I attended 5 conventions and 2 gatherings.

Anime Los Angeles

Rewore: Lunamaria Hawke [Gundam SEED Destiny]

I think I wore this for nerdcore in her Rey but uh...I ended up getting there later than anticipated. X( When I finally arrived, I had the pleasure of getting dragged by strangers to the room they were conducting the scavenger hunt in cuz one of the things on their list was to find someone with crazy hair color. And it wasn't just once...it happened like several times in a span of like 10 minutes. I should've just stood outside the stupid room and been like "Hey, look one of the things on your list is right here!"

Sakura Gathering

Rewore: Sakura Kinomoto [Cardcaptor Sakura] - movie 2 battle outfit ((added details))


I had this costume from Anime Expo 2007 except it didn't have the cute wing detail. So yeah...that's what was new here. And I am going to make her damn star wand for this year's So Cal Gathering! >.<;

I was rocking it ZAFT-style in a gathering of Meisters cuz I was late to the general gathering and by then...everyone but 00 people were still there, lol.

Rewore: Anya Earlstrathaim [Code Geass R2]
Had an interesting experience being in an alleyway with colorful graffiti. We had to be on the lookout for cars passing through. It was freakin' HOT as hell (and I was the one wearing the LEAST, lol). Some dude in charge of this boxing place tried to solicit his building for our photo purposes, bragging that some famous artist painted his walls. O_o;

I just wanted a no fuss, comfy costume in case I wanted to cosplay and yeah, hooray for wig that was meant for Ulquiorra. XD

Well, there you have it! I know I cheated...two of the costumes are the same exact outfit (hooray for school uniforms! XD).

It was pretty nice and there were some good memories. :) But oh man, I'm totally cutting back next year. Wayy too many new costumes for my liking and wallet this year. X__x;

I need to see more Soul Eater! T_T But they started taking all of it down from licensing. I've only seen like two or three eps.

LOL Definitely older version of Momiji.

Well Esme is the mom of the vampires so she's very sweet but definitely is strong as the mother figure. Shinobu I like for his strength in loyalty to Miyagi for all those years of caring about him.
