student orientation

evanaeyesterday was csulb's student orientation or SOAR. it was from 8 till like 4ish. it was so horrible cuz i was running on 5 hrs of sleep, my allergies were and still are acting up so i feel as if i have a cold, and it's that time of the month. hooray...T_T. i know it had to be done but it was oh so boring. *sigh* it then got frustrating later on when we had to register for classes cuz i couldn't find any! well i eventually did but it took forever. apparently ppl have been registering for classes since march. so unfair. bah. i hope it'll be better next semester. the free lunch they served was everything u'd expect from a school cafeteria. dry semi tastless burger. bag of chips, soda, and wow a brownie, lol. so...my schedule is mon - thur. i'm waitlisted on 3 of the classes as #2 on the list for 2 of them and #3 for the last one. i hope to god i get in, cuz then i don't hafta look for another class. and then i'll also be covered by my dad's insurance. if nothing changes, i'll be taking some art history class, this required "art matrix" thing, social psych, human sexuality (ooh ahh), and 3-D design.
i found 2 flyers for rooms for rent. i called both back but only one replied back. i'll be going to see the apt tomorrow at 1:30. my folks are adamant about going w/ me so i guess i'm stuck. god, it's gonna be so fucking embarassing, esp. w/ my dad...i just wanna curl up and die now. ok maybe not literally, but i'm sure u get the idea. iono how this girl's gonna choose who's gonna live w/ her and her friend but i hope it's me? lol. cuz she seems cool on the phone so far, the like 4 times i've talked to her. and she's asian, too, so maybe that'll be a good thing. like we'd have the same habits or something like that. so we'll see. hopefully all turns out well. *crosses fingers* >_
