Yay, one thing done on my list! Here's Mikado's track jacket~



My first zip-up hoodie of sorts! It wasn't hard -- I just modified a raglan pattern, but it did give me a bit of a headache thanks to the two-toned sleeve thing going on. I gave up trying to make the white part align with the slant of the raglan cuz I didn't want to shift the angle of the diagonal line and therefore possibly kill the look of it. I did make a slight boo boo in that I forgot that my pattern is for pajamas, so the collar is a bit too wide. Thankfully, it doesn't look too bad with the standing collar, though it could be a bit tighter. Ah well.

Now to see if I can find an el cheapo brown messenger bag. Or make one...

Note to self: Get a freakin' Teflon foot (is that what they're called?) for stretchy materials next time. It wasn't too bad for this if I sewed slower than usual but omg I have no patience! >>;
