howl's moving castle
Jul. 26th, 2005 10:17 pmyup, this is miyazaki-san's latest. i saw it today at the loews in the beverly center w/ steph. we missed the first 5 min though, cuz we were redeeming our free small soda cuz the theater we were in had a/c probs (aka, no a/c = hot mother fscker). but what surprised me was that it was subbed. o.o mina saw it somewhere in pasadena and it was dubbed. interesting...but i'm glad i saw it the way i did. *nods* i liked howl and calcifer. howl was also kinda hawt, i liked him better as a blonde though, haha. gee, the fangirl in me. xD anyway, it was a pretty good movie. i'd say it was better than castle in the sky or nausicaa...but i'm sure there're ppl who'll disagree.
oh, i went to souplantation for the first time today, too. it's basically like a buffet but only w/ like soup, baked stuff (i.e. bread, muffins, etc), 3 different kinds of pasta (some horrid looking spaghetti, mac & cheese, and this tomato alfredo thing), and salad. that it. the only thing good was the soup. so yeah, not worth it for a $8 lunch. =\
oo i left my cell at home. that was like SO annoying and iono i guess an inconvenience. i felt so lost. D: like i couldn't call anyone, i didn't know what time it was. so horrible. lol. don't i sound materialistic now? xD
