After about like two hours of scouring Ebay for a decently priced obi to go with my kimono, I give up.

I'm just going to wear Akizuki the emo samurai to Sakura Gathering (Lol, you can get emo photos of me now, evalime) and then maybe Tetsu or just something fashionably cute on the a second day.

Does anyone know how to make a katana dull? Or wanna dull it for me? XD; The one I bought for Akizuki happens to be sharpened and I don't want any accidental mishaps involving other people's limbs. :x

And cuz I'm bored~ Ganked from a few people.

2004 - First costume ever! But it was made by my mom. I did that white detail work though. 8D


2006 - First costume I made by myself! It was frustrating cuz I kept on messing up even though it's essentially a freakin' kimono.


2008 - Last costume that still isn't technically done. His dark blue shirt was lol wtffff to make and I'm still missing his capelet and a few other things which will be done by Sakura Gathering.


Damn, I didn't realize I've only been sewing for two years only. O_O It feels I've been doing it so much longer than that...

Everything is pretty impressive, even the old stuff!

My early cosplays are probably better left unposted. I'm sure I'll get the (alcohol-enhanced) courage to do it soon though :P

Dull a katana? You could maybe take sandpaper or something equally rough to it, although the sword might cut it... Scraping it on the pavement would probably do the trick ;D
