yesterday, i went to my very first dodgers game. to think, i've lived all of my life in the city of angels and i have NEVER EVER been to a dodgers game, let alone inside dodger stadium. O_o scary, ain't it? ok, not really, but i think u get the point. it was all starting out fine, we were gonna leave my house at 6 pm (the game started at 7:10) and i only had pick up hanh cuz everyone else was already at my place and she lives rite next to the stadium anyway. but nooo...javier had to be late...but it's ok. we got there in time. we missed the anthem, but oh well. at first, i didn't really understand what the hell was happening. yes...i dunno anything about baseball other than u hit the ball w/ the bat then run like crazy to 1st base. pathetic u say? yeah, i know. >.>; lol. the sun glaring in my face wasn't exactly helping me concentrate on what was happening WAY down there, either. the baseball was the size of a pea i think...from where we were sitting at least. and our seats weren't that bad either, well except for the fact that we had a railing separating us and like a 50 ft. drop...O_O;; that, needless to say, was scary, it prevented me from fully doing the wave and standing up to clap and stuff. i got into the game by like the 3rd inning. it was cool how the announcers and ppl working the uh...screens, music, and stuff tried to get everyone involved and having fun. the lame ass thing though was that we lost by 1!! by 1 freakin' um...point! grr...lol. the game also ended very quickly. like the last dude, green i believe, didn't make any hits and like he had 3 balls already, i think 2 strikes, yadda yadda, didn't hit the last ball....then next thing i knew, the teams were lining up to do that hand shake thing (for lack of a better word) they do after any sports game. yeah yeah...i'm sure carlos would correct me in saying that there was only 1 strike or whatever...afterwards though...we couldn't find my freakin' car!!! >_<;; we looked EVERYWHERE, even split up...but to no avail...until like uh...prolly a half hr. later...carlos, sylvia, and hanh found it. it was ALL the way over near the exit...^_^;;; but, it was ok, other ppl couldn't find their cars as well, so it wasn't like we were the only ppl. the ride back home, or more like the dropping off of everyone was pretty hilarious. esp. javier and carlos screaming "fried rice!!!" in a chinese accent. LOL. overall, it was a great 1st baseball game experience. it was fun. ^_^ and yeah...i guess i'll thank carlos for making me go. LOL. thank u. haha.
today, i was browsing thru cosplay.com and my friend, who cosplayed as alex from last exile, told me that there's a pic of everyone who cosplayed as range murata's characs on the anime expo newsletter. and i was like "O_O WHAT!? COOL!" BUT (there's always a but, huh?), if AX DID send me their newsletter, it must have gotten sent to my bulk folder hence it was deleted. i think the same thing happened w/ my sis, too. so now i can't see the newsletter till my friend sends her copy to me. LOL. but isn't that cool? i never thought i'd be on anything like that. so yeah, that was the highlight of my day. oh yeah...i REALLY need to wash my car as usual...^_^;; it sucks...i always delay washing it till it's like extremely dirty...which is prolly not good for the car, lol. =X
