burned and bored

yesterday, i found out why i never really liked curling irons. my sis was using hers and she put it next to the tv, i picked it up to move it and i grabbed THE WRONG END!!!!!!!ONEONEE... *fumes* my hand was numb but also hurt like a mofo for most of the day and i had to work AND it was on my left hand (*am a leftie*) ~.~; it looks ok today, i'm glad i won't get any nasty pus-filled thingy, at least i HOPE not...
