✿ INCEPTION. I saw it with my sis on Saturday night and oh god, wow, that was one amazing movie. It gave me hope that the American movie industry isn't done for or well at least we should have only Christopher Nolan make movies. No more of this Cats vs. Dogs and Twilight shit.
Even though long movie was long, I absolutely LOVED every minute of it. I couldn't stop thinking about it afterwards either. It was a very nice and creative take to the criminals-pulling-off-the-perfect-heist type of movie. It was intellectual, it was mind rape-ish, it had fucking Joseph Gordon-Levitt in a 3-piece suit. I actually thought he was fugly during his teen years, mostly cuz of his hair but now. NOW. Oh man. Hubba hubba. Leo's always nice; though as he grew older, the more his face is perpetually in a >:| expression, lol. Eeee @ Ellen Page. She's adorable. Idk, the whole cast was just hot.
The plot was a lot to absorb, especially the process and mechanics of their job, but if you kept tabs on what's going you, it wasn't bad at all. I did feel a bit overwhelmed at first. What I am confused about is their description of limbo. If you die in a dream, you fall into limbo. Do you not remember how to get out or that you have to get out? You get out by killing yourself in limbo...but how do you prevent from losing your mind when you come back to reality?
I also noticed they filmed in downtown LA (Famima!!! lol) and I think Mal's "bridge" is actually that whole Mark Taper Forum/Ahmanson Theatre complex? Or well, part of it.

But yeah...I actually wouldn't mind watching it again in theaters and I NEVER want to watch a movie twice in theaters. That's saying something.
✿ I went to the LA Zoo two weeks ago with Ben, Sara and Alex. That was fun. But it was a very hot day. X__x; Even most of the animals were all lethargic, too. Pics will be up tonight!
✿ Speaking of pics, need to look at Fanime ones fromsakurae and email bluestraggler and mirai_noah their Zeta photos.
✿ I've been itching to draw recently. Maybe I should cure that itch. Maybe with Inception fanart? Lol. But I suck at drawing real people though. It's so hard to draw them in their likeness. D;
✿ Oh yeah, I also Brazilian food for the first time on Sunday night. That was uber yummy. :9 The Yucca flour was interesting with the skirt steak, kinda like tempura or crushed croutons. I also had this one soda that was delicious. Wonder if I can find it readily in markets here...
