Silent Hill spoilers - movie explained!

I kept on thinking they were all just in an alternate dimension. Though, I had a inkling that Rose and Sharon were dead in the end. But I didn't realize the cult ppl were dead, too. Poor Cybil; talk about being in the wrong place at the wrong time. D: It still doesn't explain why there are Pyramid heads, bugs, contortionist guys, and coal-like shrieking babies in the darkness, unless those are Alessa's "imaginary friends". ^^;
