evanaeGoddamit. Why is SNL w/ Hugh Laurie d/ling soooo slowly! DX
Randomness: I LOVE FMA doujinshi by IDEA and GD Mechano (not sure if they do any other series). Their artwork is so beautiful. ;___; I wanna grab a few...or several one day.
1. How did you find out about anime conventions?
Y'know...I seriously don't remember how I found out about them at all. O_o;
2. What and where was your first convention?
Anime Expo 2003.
3. How old were you at your first convention?
19.
4. Did you cosplay at your first convention, and if so, as who?
Nope. I didn't even know about cosplay then. I was just like ":O That looks like fun!"
5. How many conventions have you've attended presently?
9, I think.
6. What was your favorite convention and why?
So far. My fave is AX cuz it's so big, there's a lot to do, and everyone you know is usually there. The smaller cons, like ALA, are nice as well cuz u can just hang out w/ ur friends w/o being distracted by things to do.
7. List all your cosplays that you've cosplayed in the past (that you can remember) and what one is your favorite?
Hrm, Sophia, Raito, Michiru, Nanao (I was originally supposed to be Rukia but damn her hair >.>), Naoto, Kagura, Farfie, Junko, Lunamaria, Hyakurin. Sophia's my favorite, but most of them have a special place in my closet. ^^
8. If you have a dream convention that you want to attend, what is it?
I don't have one. Though I'd like to attend a con outside of Cali to see how they are, esp. one in Taiwan, Japan, or the East Coast. But moneeeyyss....D:
9. Do you attend convention events, such as panels, karaoke, etc.?
I usually don't really attend those cuz I'm either not that interested or there's a time confliction w/ something else I wanna do. I did get Range Murata's autograph though. 8D
10. Have you've ever entered masquerade? And if so as who and did you win?
Nope. Sounds like fun though.
11. What do you usually buy in the dealer's room? If so, what do you buy?
Anything that catches me eye and isn't hella expensive. I've bought doujinshi, manga, little trinkets/stickers/useless stuff, a few artbooks.
12. Do you buy anything in the artist alley? If so, what do you buy?
Yeah. It's usually prints in a style that I like or think it's purdy.
13. What was the longest-traveled convention you've driven to or flown to?
Uhm. Yaoi-con in San Francisco.
14. Have you met your favorite English voice actor?
I don't have one and don't really know much of them anyway.
15. Do you generally go to conventions with friends? Or your special someone? Or both?
I go w/ friends. I would think it'd be more fun cuz there's diff kinds of fun u can have w/ friends, ur bf/gf, and ur family. And usually fun w/ friends is the best. 8D
16. Have you've met a special someone at a convention and then hooked up there, or after?
Nope. I feel that sometimes, there're just certain places where meeting someone wouldn't exactly harbor the best of those kinda relationships. Of course, I could end up being a hypocrite, haha. U never know.
17. Do you regret going to any specific convention? And if so, why?
Ani-Magic was kinda up there in the >___>;-ness cuz of how the con was handled. DUDE AND A-M SARS. But it was still fun to see and hang out w/ friends.
18. What conventions do you have planned for next year?
ALA, AX, maybe Y-con, whatever else that someone tries to make me go to and that I can afford.
19. Have you cosplayed your dream cosplay yet? If so, who?
No...I've got a few. Tsukasa Amou from Juvenile Orion and someone from Magna Carta/Hyung Tae Kim. BECK would be awesome but that's easy. XD
20. Do you go by your forum name/pen name/nick name at cons?

21. Do you have a convention that's on your birthday?
Hrm. Y-con this year was kinda close.
22. What is your current favorite anime/manga? Have you cosplayed it yet?
Hrm, NANA, Angel Sanctuary, BECK, DOGS. I wanna finish Eureka 7, Honey & Clover, Kino's Journey, and the Ouran anime. I've cosplayed from NANA and DOGS so far. I wanna do BECK, Kino, maybe Ouran but I don't think the last two'll happen.
23. Do you make your own cosplays, thrift them, or get them commissioned, etc?
Make and thrift. I've had a few friends help me make them where I only paid for the materials and in gratitude.
24. Do you have any retired cosplays? If any, why are they retired?
I guess artbook Michiru/Sailor Neptune from Sailor Moon cuz I've only worn her once and I don't think I will ever again cuz it just never comes up.
25. What cosplays do you have planned for next year? Or if there's alot of them, what series?
Auel 8D, CCS Sakura from 2nd movie (wow old series), artbook Ritsuka, maybe Fran...but I dunno when that'll be.

It killed some time. But augh, now I need to pack up to head to LA and work at 2. DX
27. Are you bored out of your mind because you're not at a con?
Not really. I do want school to end however. Want vacation now! DX
