Damn sudden downpour in Glendale. My sis and I came outta Michael's to be greeted with wet pavement and of course I had to be wearing flip flops. I kept on slipping and almost falling flat on my ass SO many times walking across the plaza to Rubio's. So scary. ;__;

For one of the printmaking projects, my teacher made us do this print exchange. The theme was Mother Earth and her beings. We had to make a dozen editions of one print to be sent in and we would get a dozen random ones back selected from everyone else who participated. Kinda cool, no? The site of for the exhibit is finally up and it's so wierd seeing my work on a site that isn't mine! :O But I haven't gotten my pack yet. I dunno how long it takes to ship to and from Canada.

Oh yeah, I half scared the crap outta my mom a few minutes ago~ I have a figure of a praying mantis for the last illustration project and I told her that the cat was playing w/ a big bug. She paid no interest, so I placed it on her shoulder while she was eating. She glances at it and screams in a half freaked out, half faked way. Then she started to glare at me, mumbling at how I scared her. Hahahaha. XD

oh my gosh! i know what you mean about the flip flops. i've been stuck in the rain w/ them before and i would have to walk really really slow crossing the street so i wouldn't slip and fall in front of everyone. so embarrassing. i hate slipping.

there was downpour in arcadia too! i was waiting for my table with my mom at life plaza (we were going to din tai fung actually, which is an uber good place to go :D) and then all of a sudden BAM!!! RAIN!!!

Yeah! It was sooo scary!! ;__; I'm amazed I caught myself each time. I started to even walk like a damn British soldier w/ the whole lifting ur leg entirely up and almost vertical to try to prevent slippage. XD
