so yeah...i just got home from this 3 day 2 nite tour of san francisco, yosemite nat'l park, hearst castle, and solvang for the thanksgiving weekend, aka thursday thru saturday. i can't say i was dragged and/or forced to go with cuz i did KIND OF agree cuz i didn't wanna be mean to my folks. but i SWEAR, I AM NEVER GOING TO STEP ONTO ANOTHER TOUR BUS FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE. those things are soooooo fscking annoying. they like take a toll on u physically and mentally. make that ur mental SANITY.

me and my family got to this um..plaza/hotel in chinatown to get picked up. there was a van waiting there already. but like there was one more party to come, so we kinda stood inside the plaza waiting. next thing i knew, a bum came outta no where and went up to the van's driver who was standing on the stairs to the sidewalk. in, what seemed to me was a fobby accent (but to my dad it was a white guy >.>), he started screaming, "what the fsck u doing in my house, man?" over and over again. it was like kinda scary at first and during the whole incident there was like this nervous tension b/w everyone and the bum. haha. then he was kinda shooed away by this coffee shop's owner in the plaza but he came back again. hahaha. but by that time, we were in the safety of the van. XD

yosemite nat'l park
the park was so freaking beautiful yet scary, or maybe overwhelming is a better word. it's like really majestic and i loved the fresh air. XD but on the way there, the road there was curvy. and then i got bus sick, it was pretty bad...i felt like puking. >_< it was also freezing up there. i think it was like definitely below 45 degrees or something. it was the kind of cold that just seeps into ur clothing and chills u to the bones. but, somehow, i got used to it after a bit. O_O my sis, mom, and me also climbed up rocks to get to a waterfall (no, not climbing up a sheer vertical piece of rock...). that was cool and fun. i kinda like took forever at this one point where the water was kinda in b/w me and the next rock and i had to jump, but i did it and i didn't slip and fall in, haha. not that i would've died..it was like a shallow uh...creek w/ semi-fast moving water, but it DID have a lotta rocks...so if i had slipped and hit my head, well u know...>.< i wanted to see the giant sequoias but we didn't go. =( i wanted to take a pic of my trying in vain to wrap my arms around one of them, lol. there were patches of snow on the way there, that was cool. XD

san francisco
i love the architecture of the bldgs! it's sooo nice. i SO want to live there at one point in my life. XD we rode a cable car. those are cool...and noisy as hell. me and my sis were hanging off the edge of it, haha. we're like "touch the cars!" though, of course, we didn't, don't want no missing limbs now, do we? the streets are scary! O_O if i drove around there, i'm sure imma like somehow slide back down the hill or something. stick shift cars are prolly not popular there, lol. i know some of the streets are so steep, the sidewalks are more like stairs. ^^;; oh, and it was cold...>.< me and my being used to sunny so. cal. weather -__- it was foggy, the famous s.f. fog. so u couldn't really see the city or anything else for that matter. well, at least when it came to pics, it was hard, but it was semi-purdy fog, haha. we also went to fisherman's wharf where i had clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl!!! *drool* that was good. XD and warmed me up. =3 we took the lil tour on a ship of s.f. bay. that was nice. it wasn't really cool but eh, they usually never are. i thought i was gonna fall a few times though. ;__; esp. when it turned to go back around...i wanted to shop though...all those after-thanksgiving sales!! nooo...;__;

hearst castle
dunno, didn't go up to the castle. admission costed like $20...and it was also freakin' cold again. like 45 degrees. me and my sis wanted to go out to the beach but like it was pouring. ;__; so we checked out the exhibits and just kinda sat around for like 2 hrs...i had a cappuccino...oh yeah and spent like a long time in the gift shop w/ my sis looking at stuff and playing w/ these bird plushies that make the sound of the bird they're supposed to be. we also stood in the rain for a few min every now and then outta sheer boredom. then my dad got mad at us cuz he lost us and i think he thought we really did go off to the beach, which we didn't. that was really dumb. *sigh*

solvang
apparently, this is an actual city in cali. O_O i never knew that. haha. but uh...so yeah, it was raining...and windy and cold...so not much fun. also i didn't have an umbrella. w00t! T__T iono why, but like mostly everyone went to eat lunch at the restaurant that the tour guide told us was good. so we went, and like apparently he ordered the same dish (fried chicken and rice) for everyone. i was like, "wtf...cuz i wanted something else," argh...and then, of course, my dad HAD to be the one to embarass everyone. >_> he was like kind of yelling at the waiters for the menu (we didn't know the tour guide had ordered our food already) and for another plate of chicken and rice cuz he wasn't full yet. >_< *sob* the tour guide was also quite rude/mean to this korean tour group. one party of them needed a seat and he wouldn't let them have it saying that they're saved for other ppl of his tour. i just kinda pretended i wasn't there...>.> we did buy a apple & cinnamon bread/cake/thing. supposedly, danish pastries are da bomb...i haven't ate it yet, but i'll find out sooner or later, lol. on the way back to l.a., we saw a rainbow when we were on some fwy in the hills of um...iono where we were...that was really purdy.

the other tour passengers
- there was this one guy whose head i swear was like a retarded human bobble head. T__T it's like i'm TRYING to watch the freakin' movie and he keeps on moving his head so that he completely blocks my view. then i move to the other side and he moves his head AGAIN to block my view!!! it's like wtf!!! stop moving ur fscking head!! i SOOOO wanted to strangle him! grr...i ended up watching some of the movies using the reflection off the window so thus, everything was backwards. >_> the movies that they showed included um...independence day, speed, rumble in the bronx, terminator 3 (which i may add is actually an aight movie...despite my first impressions ^^; is there gonna be a 4th one? i know not for a while since our governor is too busy for movies, lol)
- the tour guide was MESSED UP. he's a freakin' jerk and an asshole. when we were in san francisco, we passed by its gay community and he was all like, "here is the famous gay community. if u watch closely, u'll see two men holding hands or hugging." then like mostly everyone went "oooh ahhh" when they saw a couple. gay ppl ARE NOT freak shows in a fscking zoo. wtf is WRONG w/ these ppl!?!? that got me really offended and i'm not even gay! he also like set the amount we had to pay for him for his tip at the end of the trip. i didn't think that was right. that greedy good-for-nothing...argh...he also couldn't speak english OR mandarin very well. our bus' name was "odyssey" and he pronounced it something like "oh-daisy" me and my sis said, "wtf," looked at each other, then cracked up. oh yeah, he also was like semi-yelling at my mom when we were about to leave s.f.'s fisherman's wharf. cuz i had stepped out really quick to grab a few bottles of water and he was all like "why didn't u tell her to go get the water earlier? we're gonna be behind sched! blah blah blah" then according to my sis, he looked at her and told her to call me. all my sis did was stare back at him and then looked at my bag which was RITE NEXT to her. like she could call me if my cell was in my bag and not w/ me. DUH!! DUMBASS...>_< i wanted to cuss him out. actually, i was joking w/ my sis how a bear mauling him at yosemite would be so hilarious. yesh, i know...i'm ebil. >=P but i think he deserves it.
- the other passengers were also amazed at the sight of snow, the rainbow, the ocean, and los angeles traffic. *shakes head sadly*

the hotels
w00t! hooray for towns in central cali that smell funny!!! XD geez, that was bad...>_> how can ppl live somewhere where it smells of cow 24/7? maybe they get used to it, iono. but yeah...the 1st hotel we stayed at almost looked seedy. it was in merced. the heater/ac made funky noises. it smelled outside of sewer (don't ask me why...) and we had to wake up at like 5:30 am for a 2 hr. drive to s.f. -__- then the 2nd hotel we stayed at was at um...santa nella. now this town smelled of cow. eww....this hotel was better though, not as shitty looking, lol. we had dinner at the hotel's restuarant and well...according to my sis, there was a racist eldery couple at a table near us. she heard the guy say "well, not it has gotten unpleasant" while looking at the few tables of asian ppl (from my tour group) around him. i was like T__T i was also ready to yell at him if he tried to say anything to me or my family, whether out loud or under his breath. he ended up going to the table w/ the tour guide and was asking them questions, iono what questions though, couldn't make out what he was saying. as for creepy noises, this hotel's windows kept shaking cuz of the wind. >.> this time we had to wake up at 4:30 am!! *sob* and it was like 3 hrs to hearst castle. >=P i realized that cali. has a lotta diff. types of land. there's the forrest, then the desert, the rolling hills, and then our beachs. O_O and also how much of central cali. is like farm lands. ^^;; like the only places where it is like densely civilized would be s.f. and l.a. and a few places in b/w. haha.

yesh, i know this is like a freakin' novel or something and i'm sure i forgot SOMETHING somewhere...
