a taste of chaos

evanaelast nite, even though i was sick, i went to the taste of chaos tour at the long beach arena/convention center/whatever the hell it's called. it was fscking awesome. xD me and steph got confused when we got there cuz we couldn't find out where to park. but we found it and had to walk quite a bit to the venue. X_x; one awesome thing was that my tiks were actually pit tickets! w00t! we had a wristband and all, haha. there were a whole buncha opening bands, which kinda sucked. well, there was this one group from SD that were all flip, i think, they were ok. i liked the lead singers voice and steph kept on commenting on how skinny he was, lol. i didn't catch their name though. D: and i also couldn't find their booth outside, lol. i thought i was gonna die cuz their music sucked. i didn't like it at all. it was the hard rock stuff w/ a buncha drums and a guy screaming incoherent words into the mic. ~_~ i think they were called killswitch engage. i'd hafta agree w/ steph that l.a. audiences are the most tough. cuz thruout a lot of the bands, they were all just like standing there, not really applauding and stuff after either.
anyway...after all the opening acts, my chemical romance came out. i thought they were ok. thruout all of the concert, me and steph were trying to find sylvia, cuz we knew that she was there in the pit somewhere. but there were too many ppl, supposedly like 14,000. O_O when the used came out, that was kinda when pandamonium broke loose. but the pit still wasn't as bad as it was at TBS. maybe cuz there were more girls at this one. anyhoo, the used rocked! they had energy and all that good stuff that makes being in the pit fun. i actually was able to see the stage most of the time cuz everyone was also shorter, muahaha.
at one point, when MCR was out, the lead singer said, "hey all u girls out there, if u see anyone sleazy, prolly dressed like us (meaning them) and they tell u to flash them to get backstage, spit in their face, and tell them to FUCK OFF!" haha. that was the greatest. it was also cool when bert told us to open up the floor for the biggest pit in the whole tour/world/whatever. i swear, me and steph got pushed back like 20 ft. O.o; oh and he made us say "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, bitch" or whatever how u spell that, lol.
later on, during their last few songs, we FINALLY found sylvia. apparently she had passed out and some nice guys took her to first aid. scary, huh? she had forgotten her inhaler. >.< she also said she got stepped on in the face (ouch...). i'm just glad she's aight. i lava ya. rock on gurl.
