YAY NEW ALBUM OUT 06.24.08!!!!!

"Pork and Beans" is okay imo. It's nothing omg awesome but it definitely still has the Weezer feel to it that I've come to know and love.

But O___o; at the cover. It's quite eccentric, almost makes me think they're making a statement about the stereotypes on how a band should look as a whole. But ewww why is Rivers sporting a moustache? I think he's balding as well if you watch "Lover in the Snow" at their site. My Rivers is getting old. ;___;

But that video, it really is amazing and thought-provoking that he still strove to accomplish his life-long goal of playing soccer. I thought it was awesome of him to share this little tidbit of his life.

I think weezer's comeback was based on their bside pinkerton songs. Thats when napster had all them on mp3's which then got people buying blue and pinkerton. I haven't dug the rest of the albums weezer has put out since. I'll give this new album a listen but sad that weezer hasn't made stuff like their bside of pinkerton songs.

I can't believe I didn't know that! So sadly, I dunno the awesomeness of which you speak of. :( I'll hafta google for these B sides songs...

If the new album is anything like Blue or Pinkerton, I'll be happy. I did like Make Believe though...Maladroit, I didn't like at the time it came out, dunno if I will now.

Maladroit sounded like uncompleted song off the green album but that were really good in my opinion. dopenose is catchy though keep fishin was completely different from how it was played on the radio.
