AX'07 Con Report

Friday:
- Found out Renaissance has NO PARKING left. Wth? How does that happen? Goes valet for now...argh.
- Stood in the WRONG line for like 3 hrs. Thank you very much, damn volunteer. Got into the right line w/ vpshinra and then tasu saved us another 3 hrs wait in line. ♥ Also got sunburn. Hooray.
- Proceeded to get lost trying to get to the Hyatt from the Performing Arts Center. >_>;
- Styled sprkledragon86's Sakura [Street Fighter] wig~
- Found out hotel rate was upped by $30 a nite cuz I put 4 guests. I even CALLED the damn hotel to ask if there'd be an extra ppl charge and person said NO. Fuckers. ASLDKJFLKD. >(
- Worked on my Sakura [CCS].
- Mm...Rockbottom for din din~

Saturday:
- ANNA TSUCHIYA CONCERT w/ ranten. ;D Even though I only knew a few of her songs and the show was an hour late, I enjoyed myself. I LOVE her guitarist, the one w/ the half blonde hair. I dunno his name. D; He was so hyped up and fun that it got me into it. He was also throwing guitar picks left and right. One flew within 2 feet of me down the aisle but I couldn't dive for it cuz I wasn't at the edge. Sadness. ;__;
- Wore Noe...well kinda. I just looked like a random school boi. XD
- Phone-chan died. D: I had to sit in my car and inhale exhaust fumes cuz I forgot outlet charger. Bleh.
- Worked on Sakura in naoekun's room~ Met Gio and Tim~
- Got into Auel for Gundam panel. Nat and I were LATE, LOL. :x Omg pic spammage time afterwards.
- Din din at Sharkey's. Yummy. :3
- Worked more on Sakura and Syaoran's bootcovers till like 3 am in her room.

Sunday:
- SAKURA & SYAORAN DONE. Well no wing details...oh well. :| Jet took awesome pics out on the lake/bridge area!! ♥
- Styled a GASTON wig for Justine's friend Chris, haha. XD
- Wore Auel for GSEED gathering, which lasted like...not long. XD
- Met rukawagf and took some Yzak/Auel piccies.
- In & Out >> masq. Hadn't eaten all day. ;(
- Watched AX Backstage on loop in Jet's room. It was so like HS Campus News. So corny, ahaha.
- Wanted a DRINK OMG. But I needed to go to room cuz phone died again, so I declined on unlock's offer which I should've said yes cuz no one was in the room anyway when I got there (I didn't have the key, rawr).
- Found ziggybecket w/ intent to drink but ended up eating rice w/ turtle food-esque salmon furikake. The magically disappearing bottle of ice tea was baffling. XD
- Met some ppl from otakubooty~

Monday:
- CCS times again w/ tinted_glass~
- Mina and I wanted to see Transformers but uh...line was like beyond ginormous. We decided to pass and went to exhibit hall instead.
- Didn't buy much. :| Last 2 vol's of Angel Sanctuary and some cute pins. Almost bought a Sting/Auel doujinshi but it was $10 and art wasn't THAT great. Accidentally looked at hentai, haha. I should read signs instead of just making a bee line towards any boxes w/ doujinshi in them w/o reading signs.
- Realized a LOT of guys like CCS. Which is kinda wierd. Lolita complex? We couldn't walk a few feet w/o getting stopped for a pic. @D@;
- Couldn't find Oscar. :(
- Said bye to ppls~
- I don't think I paid for parking, ahaha. XD I was in valet, but a nice valet guy told me to just take off the yellow tags and pretend I found a spot cuz valet cars were mixed in w/ self-park ones in the structure. I told front desk that I found a spot, so I thought it'd be on the statement/folio/whatever, but it wasn't. And then leaving the place, some dude was just like sliding his own parking card for ppl to lift the gate, lol.

I don't know I want to go to AX if it's in Long Beach or LA next year. :| I hated how disorganized they were. I didn't know where ANYTHING was and I didn't like that everything was so spread out. That walkway facing the setting sun was also not fun cuz it was SO HOT. Omg. Not to mention that a lotta ppl didn't have reception in the exhibit hall so that was a pain in the butt. I dunno...*sigh* We'll see I guess.
