Does anyone want to come over for a sewing party this weekend? :C

I can have two people at most. Going to see if we can take over the living room as my room's too small and my sister's back due to winter vacation.

Does anyone know how much parking is at con? I'm wondering if I should find a place to crash last minute or just pay for parking every day...

Sad face at not being able to try Father's Office with sakurae on Monday. It was extremely packed more than usual according to her. I guess economic downtimes + holiday vacation = no one leaves town. We ended up at a hole-in-the-wall BBQ place where I had a delicious tri tip sammich, fries, garlic bread and a bottle of Widmer.

I'm not fond of having no holiday vacation. Though I'm enjoying the lack of traffic due to people who are lucky enough to have time off. I'm technically not supposed to work on Fridays though, I should ask boss lady nonchalantly if she still needs me to come in on those days.

Can I say maybe? I'm pretty much just sewing frantically this weekend. There's also a possibility of coming over to my apartment to sew; I have more space (gotta find more chairs). I just live with two girls who don't know what cosplay is. ^_^;

I should get some fake eyelashes again too. *reminded* And get some makeup.

As for parking, I actually can't remember at the moment (maybe $25 normally but I believe there's a con discount to $13?), but we could possibly carpool Saturday and Sunday if you want. I'm also working part of the day on Friday, but my workplace is over that direction or I'd offer to get you.

Yes, you can say maybe, lol. Going over to your place sounds like a good idea, too if it means more space. Your roommates haven't asked or questioned? But I'm assuming you sew in your room, so they most likely don't notice? XD;

Yvonne was telling me of this good and cheap place in Diamond Jamboree in Irvine. But I don't know...what kind/shape would look most natural because I did buy a pair from Little Tokyo and they look odd.

Is there a specific time you need to get there and/or leave the con?

I fly back on Friday. Only one more day of not worrying about work and letting everyone else manage stuff for me.

I have plenty of space. Also two cats, but I think they'll behave. Hopefully. I used to sew mostly in my room, until it got too messy. A couple of my roommates have seen me work on stuff, just not the ones I have right now.

You can get fake eyelashes from pretty much anywhere - CVS, costume supply stores, FD... I've never really looked for specific eye shapes, but you can cut the lashes if they're too long. My eyes are huge and they're barely big enough for some types.

No time constraints on my end. Even though I have five costumes planned, I don't have any shoots or anything (just the casual SEED group on Friday).

I'm used to cats and cat hair on my stuff, so that'll be fine. It's up to you though, don't want to intrude.

I wanted the thinner ones that I think I've only seen with Asian products. Or maybe I'm looking at the wrong places, lol.

I ended up with a room for one night, Sat thru Sun because I figured it'd just be easier overall and the price wasn't too bad. You're welcome to join in if you'd like or use the room as a changing room.

I have some very light natural lashes if you need some? I bought them in Little Tokyo and they're probably the most natural you can get for fake lashes that aren't the individual kind. I can help you get them on too. Dang maybe I shouldn't have cancelled my hotel room for ALA -_-; Think we could get the one Sat night at con rate to share?

I might need to borrow them...;x I realized that what I bought (and now lost...I don't know where one of them went lol) before had fibers that were too thick and looked odd when on my eyes.
