GAY KITTY BOY




The stupid shirt...Bah. I accidentally cut the pieces shorter than I intended to twice, so I added that piece on the bottom -- hence the cuff-like hem, lol. I'm not sure if it's quite long enough...but whatever. Done. I'm starting to HATE working with jersey or anything with a stretch cuz I always forget to mind which way the stretch goes when I cut things out. >__>;

I feel like I have no wrists with those arm warmers, lol.

The pants are made of linen with this purple cord-like thing I found at Joann's sewn on for the pinstripes. I didn't know it frayed to the high seas, so uh Fray Check has been a god send for me on this and it came out better than I thought it would, so yay~ Also, pattern size charts FAIL. According to my waist and hip measurements, I should be a pattern size 14. I think I'm really like a 10...The only part that fits me in 14 is my ass. .__. IDEK. I also dunno why I bothered with making pockets for these; it just kinda happened, lol.

I just need to sew the inseam of the pants together, finish the waistband, put on a hook thing and voila done!

THE BOOKWORM


The Spartoi coat wasn't too hard to make but there are some stupid mistakes; like the shoulders, wtf. No wonder I felt that I looked odd in it. Well, I hope readjusting those will fix the appeared fatness/boxy-ness. It doesn't help that I'll be wearing lots layers. u__u; It was also hard to get that v-neck collar to match up, but ah well the sailor collar and tie will cover all that.

It was also the first time I made buttonholes! Ommggg!! It's SO EASY to do it on my machine. I've no idea why I avoided them 'till now. (Well, I don't think I've needed to make them 'till now either...)

HOMESTRETCH TO-DO LIST:
Tuesday
- Finish gay pants
- Remake standing collar on shirt

Wednesday
- Go home to find color contacts DX
- Pick up suitcase from sis
- Take in grey shirt a bit...
- Start fixing coat: fix shoulders, add cuffs, move back collar lower, replace that one button that got dented in...

Thursday
- Finish coat
- PACK LIKE THE WIND

Friday
- Roll out at the buttcrack o' dawn!
- Sew on hook thing for gay pants
- Style Mikado wig sometime this weekend before Monday...lol

Hey do you have time sat afternoon? Since craftsmanship is at 2, and close to the hotel, I was debating puting everything on or just carrying it over, either of which I would ask for your help lol. Thanks!

I still find it funny that I work better in groups when sewing than studying, lol. I guess the other person there is a healthy distraction, compared to my comp when I'm working alone? XD

I could probably make time? Or just run over to help you out when needed?

Or...put in feathers but don't heat and bond? @__@; Idk if that'd make it any easier. But yeah...feathers are the only thing I can think of for your to cut out.
