Hm. Okay. Wig help, please?

Has anyone seen or have any Arda wig in sandy brown (124), ginger blonde (027) or light blonde (013)?

Their galleries show inconsistent color thanks to the difference in lighting and post editing in everyone's pics. D:

I'm having a hard time deciding on which color for Ventus from Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep. References are here. Oh hi, Aku. XDD As you can see, official artwork his him as a lighter blonde. Then in game, he's more of a brown blonde thing…which I think I like better, but not as dark as it can be in some screenshots. So with that in mind, I think I like the last pic in the sandy brown album pretty well, but I'm not sure if it'd be too dark in sunlight because that pic was taken indoors and first pic has the person in the shade. Second choice would be the ginger blonde. I like how the color looks in the head shots of the girl in the striped blue and black shirt and three pics afterwards of it on a wig head, but then you see 2nd and 4th pic in and it's pretty darn dark or ginger. O__o; Light blonde would be my last choice and apparently the popular choice for Roxas/Ventus. So hmmmm...

Oh and I'd be getting the Magnum from Arda. I didn't really want to have to trim the wig cuz I'm not so good with trimming spikes, but alas, I don't think there's a choice.

Another option is this wig from Epic Cosplay. But, I don't know if it'd be thick enough for all the spikes I'll need. Anyone know? One good thing is that I may need to trim it less...I think. Also, this is how it looks on an Asian…WHICH HELPED, LOL.

That epic wig won't have enough hair. This is the wig: http://xyaminogamex.deviantart.com/#/d48bn08 in a different color. It is super short. Maybe a longer epic would work.

I have done a lot of spiking so ask if you need help. Usually I get punky for spikey wigs. Or I seen people sew two normal wigs together because the side of punkys suck and dont lay flat.

I would have gone for a punky but I felt that that might be...too much hair and volume for Ventus/Roxas, but it worked great for Tetsu from PMK! XD

I hope we're both right in hoping those head shots are the true color cuz I don't like how dark the wig looks in that 2nd pic of Roxas. /crosses fingers

Really? Huh. I need to level up my wig spiking skill. I was hoping to use a shaggy wig after finding this one Roxas wig tutorial on DA where she used one and it turned out awesome, but hers was from Maple and I'm guessing the layers were longer than this Epic one. :C Ah well. Trimming it is!

Oh! May I borrow your Benio wig in either October or November for a private shoot? You're in So Cal, correct? Also, you're welcome to borrow my costume as well if you'd like. I think we're about the same size...

It can be hard trying to visualize if a certain shade of blonde would work for your skin.

A friend was telling me to look at the veins on the underside of your forearms. Blue = cool. Green = warm. Blue & green = neutral. So that may help with choosing a shade that fits your skin tone.

Don't be sorry or guilty! Lol. Ventus has been on my list of "maybe to-do's" for a while and you making this group pushed me along to finally do it. :P

Can I come over next weekend or the one after and collaborate on the wig styling? I'd like to learn how to spike wigs, but having a 2nd opinion would help immensely.

Oh, you said you were making those pendants as a necklace? So I wouldn't attach it to uh that criss-crossing chest thing?

yes of course. I'm free both weekends to do anything so when ever you feel like it. I'm not the most amazing wig stylist, but I can definitely help.

Im working on these necklaces that aqua makes for everyone in the game. The pendants will still go on the cris-cross thing since those are different. I can make you one of those two if you want so you can attach it to yours, but im making that thing for me too. I think the only part of the outfit I'm not getting done is the shoes and arm armor.
