weekend recap

saturday:
i had a busy busy day. =D had to go to an OLHE potluck picnic at noon. it was pretty cool, all laid back and stuff. i met some new ppl but basically stuck w/ carlos cuz i didn't really know anyone else, well ralph was there but he came late. we had carne asada w/ tortillas, some beans (which were actually really good O.o) and rice (it looked like it had noodles in it...>.>;;). it was kinda funny at times cuz carlos and james (no not marshall james or liz's james) didn't really like a few ppl who were there. some ppl kept on changing the music, which did get kinda annoying after a while...

so yeah...there was shit talking. xD then came the activities (woot...not...). one was uhm...rather odd and i'd hafta say i could've thought of something WAY better than that : it was uhm...us all divided into 2 groups and the er, activity persons, would throw tissue (looked like the bathroom kinda, gross...) into the air and whichever group caught it all first won. the "lesson" of that activity was something about not letting rumors fly. needless to say, everyone was kinda going "eh? wah?". then the 2nd activity was better. everyone had a name of a celeb taped to their back then everyone had to ask yes or no questions to figure out who they were. if the answer was a "no" they had to move on and ask another person questions. i had chris rock and i swear...i felt dumb cuz i couldn't figure it out. lol. oh well. xP (if i had KNOWN that his latest stand-up dvd/act/whatever was called "bigger and blacker" i'd prolly had figured it out when someone gave me that hint...cuz i swear! i started thinking "big" as in "FAT' lol...=X)

anyway....afterwards we played some ball. it was fun and i realized how necessary it is for me to exercise (though i prolly won't start...>.>; geez, i'm so lazy..haha) basically it was me and carlos against ralph and well we SUCKED. haha. we only won when ralph gave us 6 pts from the start, lol. then...at 4ish i went to the galleria to meet up w/ steph. i bought a $5 AE skirt =O (amazing!) and slippers! xD then at 7 i went to bennigan's for my work's uhm...going away dinner. 2 of the managers are leaving, one's moving to the east coast and another is getting her own store in ventury county. the food was purdy good and i met one of the manager's friends, heidi. she's sooo hilarious. omg. xD;; i was laughing so much and hard that i thought i was gonna *die* ok not literally but well, i also did think my stomach would hurt and then i wouldn't be able to eat, lol.

sunday:
did nothing all day, went to tony roma's for din din for ralph's bday (well, technically his bday was on friday but yeah...) oh yeah, ribs are goooood....*drool*

and today....i did nothing...w00t. well my net's like screwy rite now....it's slow but when i go on RO it's EXTREMELY laggy. so sad. ;__; oh well, i did something productive today, i started CGing that dude looking up that i posted in an earlier entry. i only have the base/flat colors down, but i like it so far. =3
