evanaeboo, i found out that the deadline for applying for on campus housing was sometime in march. it's like WTF? i didn't even KNOW about it till bernard found out and told me. T__T i was under the impression that they'd send us a packet w/ that info, guess not...so i guess i'm stuck looking for an apt...i hope my folks would be ok w/ me being roomies w/ bernard. i know he's a guy and all, but it's not gonna be us two. i'm thinking like 2 girls and 2 guys sharing like a 2-3 bdrm apt/whatever, so we need to post up flyers and interview the ppl interested really good cuz i don't want no bad roomies. drama's not good. D: i hope we can find a cheap place in one of the non-ghetto areas down there. and i also hope my folks will let go of me being their lil girl. i know it's hard and no parent really wants to do it, but it's inevitable. and i do want to prove to them that i can live on my own and handle the bills and other on-your-own stuff.
today i went out to a family dinner at a chinese buffet place. food was aight. <3'ed the sushi though (at least THAT was fresh or else i'd be not feeling well atm). anyway, mm...lessee...my family was there, my aunt w/ her daughter-in-law and 3 kids, and my other aunt w/ his 2 sons, one w/ his gf and new found half sister. she's cool. ^_^ she's french canadian and they share the same dad, soo she's like half asian. cool. haha. she came down here to meet us and to also see l.a. cuz the last time she came (i think it was 2 months ago) she didn't have the time to. it's so cool that she lives like rite next to/in front of a bay. it freezes over solid during winter. :O if we get an iceberg here, it'd be like the end of the world, haha. but it looks so beautiful there. she lives in a town of like 3,000 ppl. like 1 main street, a few ligths here and there, no traffic whatsoever. oh and no white cars for a reason, haha. i hope she has fun while she's here. but it's kinda cool that i have a non-asian relative. :D
