evanae | Gaiety on the weekend

Y-con report time cuz I'm sick of shading and I will prolly pull an all-niter again anyway. *sigh*

There were a handful of things that went wrong that made me want to pull outta going to Y-con, but I'm glad I went cuz I got to see and hang out w/ ppl I normally don't see often, mainly the NorCal peeps. ♥ y'all. Wish we hung out a bit more though? =(

I didn't register at all, lol. The con itself, I felt was boring. Quite immature for being 18+, but I guess it's something that comes w/ the yaoi fandom? I saw many things I did NOT need to see and I didn't even attend any of the con events. >_>; I also thought the con was bigger? Better? I don't know...it's the rumors I tell ya.

I learned how to walk in 7 1/2 inch platform boots...and survived! @__@; I can now cosplay TALLer characs!

I can't wait to see the pics that were taken. Thanks to all who took pics~ I will prolly spam y'all on LJ once I find them. XD

ziggybecket's bug was lime green, ahaha. Also met his posse at Max's. Nice to meet y'all and same goes to the random ppl I met like Ghostbustah Dave and Mel. ^^

I don't think I've heard about Cori, Cluracan, John, etc. as much as I've had this past weekend.

The drive down felt like it took WAAYY longer than the drive up. I don't know why...It's supposed to be the other way around. Maybe cuz we had to go back to real life and we were flailing the whole way down. D: Someone invent teleportation already! Then we can beam from SoCal to NorCal all we want and vice versa in a matter of seconds!

Kinda wished we went into SF. Never did have my clam chowder in a bread bowl, ahah. Or window shop in Union Square. Oh wells, there'll always be next time. Maybe Xmas w/ Mi?

*edit* Oi, I forgot that Raito and Light-o went on a date-o at the restaurant in Clarion. XD Twas hilarity that no one got cept for a special few, lol.
