The store is closing THIS THURSDAY.

Yup, you read rite. We got a phone call from our district manager today that our store, along w/ the Northridge one + like 70 other stores including Sam Goody's, are closing. Like way to go in the advanced notification dept, huh? I'm still kinda like "Srsly?!" rite now. It won't affect me too much being that I was gonna leave at the end of the month anyway, but it's still kinda sad. A lot of ppl will be very sad. I know a lot of the anime distributors will lose some business being that we carried a hefty selection.

With that said, if there will be any closing/liquidation sales I'll post it up here so you guys, my f/l, can take advantage of it. But you'd hafta drive to the store in Glendale, lol. Rite now though, we have a Buy 1, Get 1 Free on ALL GENEON titles. Actually, I think that sale is at all Suncoasts.

The thing is, it's such short notice, I'm not sure if we'll even have one. Cuz usually liquidation sales, like Tower Records, last a few months but we're closing this week. O__o;

As far as I know, sell as much as we can and the rest get shipped...somewhere...warehouse? Other OPEN stores? O_o;
