me and connie went to carlos' 21st bday party. i hafta say, that was fun. ^__^ it was cool and kick back, y'know, w/ all the ppl i knew and connie met the ppl i knew from gcc. i think one of them made an "interesting" first impression on her. mwahahaa. it was at jesse m.'s new house in santa clarita. dude, his house is NICE. it should be on mtv's cribs!
the music was pretty good and, of course, there was some latin music (which i TRIED to dance to but it didn't work, haha). at least he didn't play the macarena. val was the life of the party as usual. u go girl! lol. and carlos can dance even though he claims he doesn't like to or can't. whatevers. xP he only does it when no one's looking though. LMAO. and i admit, i got my groove on. i think the alcohol took away some of my inhibitions or maybe cuz i knew everyone. iono. lol.
i had a burger at the party and boy, am i glad for that burger. XD cuz it like soaked up all the alcohol i drank and wasn't affected at all. well, not that i drank a lot, only had some beer and smirnoff and a sip of vodka, but i was the *ahem* driver. so thank god for burgers. =D the cake was purdy good, hehe. and there was pineapple pie. O_o i didn't even KNOW that there was such a thing as pineapple pie. have i been like living under a rock or something? LOL. iono how i didn't know about it cuz everyone else was like "yeah, u never had it b4?" lol. oh well.
oooh, the roads around santa clarita are crazy! the speed limit is like 50. now...if only l.a. had speed limits on regular streets like that, haha. and the wierd thing was that uhm...when we were going back (which was like around 12:30 to 1 am) there was a sign that read "traffic pattern changed." whotf changes the "traffic pattern" in the middle of the nite? is there a point to that? but the thing was, we never hit any different pattern, so we will never know what that sign really meant...lol. but supposedly christine got lost on her way to the house cuz of that. hm...O_o
