evanae | More anime that I'll prolly never finish. XD

Tonight, I started watching this new series with a hella long ass name called Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto.

I was basically drawn to it cuz of these icons *points at her icon above* that someone had made and stuck them w/ her batch of Death Note ones posted to the death_eyes comm. Now, I'm a sucker for nice charac design, but even more so for nice artwork. >_>;

Anyway, this take's place at like the end of the Edo era (y'know...Western influence has infiltrated secluded Japan, oh noes!). It's about a mercenary named Youjiro who's like omg hot! I seem to have a thing for moody brunettes. XD But but, there's this one blonde eyepatched guy on the site that's hot, too~ Ok, I digress...So Youjiro has a charm on the end of his katana hilt seems to detect supernatural things and he then is like...driven to go after and kill it. He also joins this theater troupe that has a playwrite who seems to have an agenda of his own. So it's like shh!conspiracy, what're these ppl really up to? And like I'm still confused as to what the whole plot is but that may be what they want...So yeah...it's purdy animation. The music's awesome. It's piqued my interest so far. And now I'm rambling.

Oh! Damn Tsubasa icons everywhere. It's like spoiers left and right! I now know Fai loses an eye, poor Fai. *pets him* ;__;
