Are narratives/artist statements ever not cheesy?

Project 2 done! \o/~ We had to cast two rings using the lost wax method and the pair needed to be a set while referencing a relationship or connection between the two or the subjects they symbolize. We also needed to write a short narrative to accompany said rings.

Oh god, my narrative's so dramatic. I dunno how it came out like that...not even sure if rings support it well enough. /embarassed

Two opposites.
One reaching, straining, in vain trying to reach the other.
Build higher, higher and higher.
Not realizing it's staining, seeping in.
Destroying just waht it wants to reach.
Never really touching it.
It never can.

I think I went a bit too crazy; there's like 3 "rows" of buildings. ^^;

the city one is so cool *__* i like that it gets darker.

I almost burnt my finger on sulfur darkening that thing. D: Well, it felt like it was burning but I think it was just irritated for the rest of the day.
